Claire Keegan's first fiction workshop of 2014 will held at the Millrace Hotel, Bunclody, Co Wexford on January 18 & 19. The workshop will run from 9:30 to 5pm both days. Manuscripts, which must not exceed 3,000 words, will be due on January 8th.
On December 9th, Claire will run a day on paragraphs in St Patrick's College, Drumcondra. She will be demonstrating how a paragraph of fiction works: the shape and structure of a paragraph; transitions; movement; statement and tone. Participants will be asked to scrutinise, write and rewrite paragraphs on the day. The day will begin at 9:30 and conclude at 5pm.
