Irish Book Awards — Voting closes midnight on Thursday
The Stinging Fly has two writers nominated for prizes at this year's BGE Irish Book Awards — Colin Barrett and Danielle McLaughlin. Winners are decided by the public, and there are only two days left to vote... so please do get voting!
Colin is on the shortlist in the Best Newcomer category, whilst ‘Bait’, a story from Colin's Young Skins is nominated in the new Short Story category. Danielle has also been nominated in the Short Story category for 'A Different Country', which features in our new winter issue.
You can read both stories on the Irish Book Awards website, where you can vote for your favourite (*cough*) of the six shortlisted stories.
